- Custom-fit views: Users can now customize what data appears in the asset grid, dashboard, and pop-up, showing them only the details they care about. If desired, each asset can have a unique set of data on the asset card and asset dashboard.
- Built-in defaults: Ready-made templates (Vehicles/Powered Equipment and Non-Powered Equipment) cover common use cases right out of the box.
- Global Changes: Changes made to the Grid or Asset views/templates are applied for all users.
- Custom Data Fields: Since data fields can be renamed, most asset fields can be repurposed to unique business needs.
Asset Card
Area shaded in blue are the fields that can be added to, removed, and renamed.
Asset Dashboard
All fields in the Asset Dashboard view below can be added to, removed, and renamed including the headers.
- To customize these views, click the Settings button. Hover your mouse over the Assets button and click on Customize Asset Views.
- We have three default Asset views for the Asset card and dashboard. View the default asset cards and determine what changes, if any, need to be made.
- To create a new view from scratch, press the +Template button. You can create a new one using one of the three default templates by clicking the down arrow button to the right of the view button on the template you’d like to start from and then clicking the Duplicate Template button.
- Select from the available fields by dragging the fields into the Asset Pop Up or Asset Dashboard windows. To rename any of the fields, hover your mouse to the right of the text and click the blue edit button.
- Give the new view a descriptive name.
- Click the Save Template button.
Asset templates can be applied two ways.
a) From the Asset form.
b) Templates can be applied in bulk from the Asset list. Either check the boxes off individually to the left of the asset name or select all assets by clicking the box to the left of Update Selected Assets. Then, click the Update Selected Assets button.
- Next, click the pencil icon to the right of the View Template drop down menu. Then, select the template you want to apply from the drop down menu. Last, click Update Assets.
Asset Grid
The asset grid view is also customizable.
