Analytics Dashboards Overview

Ascend includes three themed analytics dashboards that turn your fleet's telematics data into charts you can filter, compare, and export:

1. Fleet Overview — utilization, engine hours, idle, distance, and alert activity across the fleet
2. Maintenance — maintenance plan status, services performed, inspections, and diagnostic trouble codes
3. User Activity — who is logging in and how often
4. Asset Dashboard —  all the information for a single asset.
5. Weekly Snapshot —  quick overview of your fleet's activity for the week
6. Driver Safety Scorecard — a overview of Driver behavior

Filtering Options

The same filter bar drives all analytics dashboards:

Date — Look back up to five years, adjustable to any time frame within the last five years.

• Time Unit — Day, Week, Month, or Quarter. Charts labeled "by time unit" group their data accordingly.
• Summary Level — Asset, Model, Year, Equipment Type, Equipment Subtype, Assigned Driver/Operator, or Hierarchy Level 4/End Customer. Charts labeled "by summary level" group their data accordingly.
• Item selection — Specify which assets, models, equipment types, etc. to view, or compare all.
• Group and Project filters — Drill into groups of assets or assets assigned to a specific project.
• Utilization Target Hours — A slide bar that adjusts the target engine hours that represent a 100% utilization rate.
• Utilization Metric — Basic Utilization includes all days in the period; Active Utilization includes only active days (days with actual runtime hours from the asset).

After changing any filter, click Apply to refresh the charts. 

Click Save to store your filter preferences for future sessions, or Reset to return the filters to their defaults.

Working with Charts

• Every chart can be exported to CSV.
• Every chart has a tooltip with more information about what it displays.
• Clicking any item in a chart — an asset, equipment type, or whatever the summary level is — filters out everything you didn't click, letting you isolate one item across the dashboard.
• The refresh rate for the data contained in the dashboards is every 48 hours.
